Ako mislite da vas je neka nebeska sila spustila, nekako slučajno, tamo gde ne osećate kao da baš tu pripadate, da li je to greh? Mudro bih prećutala o kome je reč... Uh, već ste ukapirali... Bravo! Kada se uputim u redovnu kupovinu dnevnih namirnica, uhvatim sebe kako kao Lauda letim izmedju rafova u potražnji najnovijih "akcija". Grabim se za sve moguće kartice i kupone za jeftiniju kupovinu. Onda dodjem kući kad poharam i zelenu pijacu pa shvatim koliki sam idiot. Onda sutra radim istu stvar.
U šoping centrima se ne snalazim. Dodjem, retko do duše, na nagovor mame i sestre, koje još uvek gaje nadu da će me videti u "Chanel"-ovom kostimu. Ja najsretnija u kineskoj radnji ili na buvljaku. Sad su već ubedjene da su me sigurno zamenili u bolnici. Ako se ponekad desi da imam viška novca, prvo obilazim knjižare pa tek onda kozmetičke ili frizerske salone. Naravno ako kusura uopšte ostane. Opšte mišljenje koje vlada u mojoj porodici je da nisam baš sva svoja.Kukam naglas kada vidim da neko seče stogodišnje drveće, ako bih dobila sedmicu na Loto-u, veći deo bih podelila beskućnicima i gladnima. Ne volim menjanje imena ulica i trgova. Kakvo god je ime prethodno tu bilo, to je deo naše istorije, kakve-takve, naša je.Malo me teši što sam rodjena i živim u Zemunu. Iako ozloglašen zbog tamo nekih dodjoša, nekako se osećam kao da živim u Firenci koja uspešno odoleva čarima velikog Rima. Imamo i našu Veneciju. Dobro je što sam ovo napisala. Trenutno nemam onaj ružni osećaj sa početka teksta. Bar ne danas.
